Set up in 1963 by the government of India with a view to professionalize India’s foreign trade management, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Delhi has come a long way. It currently figures in the list of top B-schools in the country with its Deemed University status in place since 2002 and has been accredited as “A” grade institute by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in May 2005. The institute has also established base in Kolkata with its new campus in 2006.
