  • Executive Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Management is started with the notion of providing specialized learning in a specific business field.     The course lays a strong foundation in topics that help take on the new competitions confronting the businesses today. The candidates are instilled with skills required to make decisions relating to valuations of assets, hedging, trading and portfolio management especially if the candidate holds a job in corporate, banks, financial institutions and regulatory organizations.

Course Schedule:
  • The Program will be delivered in 2 key components: 36 hours of classroom learning through In-campus Modules and 189 hours of classroom learning through Interactive Learning (IL) mode

  • Frequency: 2 days every week
  • The classes would be generally held on the following days and time:
  • Wednesdays 6.45 pm - 9.45 pm
  • Sundays 12.15 pm - 3.15 pm

Who is right for the Program?
  • The entry to all executive education programmes is restricted to graduates/ CA/ ICWA having at least 5 years of work experience. The participants of these programmes form an interesting mix of working professionals ranging from Executive Vice President to Executives from varied backgrounds like IT, Human Resources, Marketing, Banking, Financial Services and Manufacturing.
Admission Criteria:
  • Working professionals with a minimum of 5 years work experience and holding at least a Bachelor’s Degree/CA/ICWA, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA, awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

  • • Apart from the educational qualifications and the work experience, admission to the programme is based on a personal interview.Successful graduates of IIMK's EMEP/EPGCGM applying for EPGCFM are not required to undergo interview process. They may be selected based on their performances in EMEP/EPGCGM and their application.

  • Total Program Fees is inclusive of Rs.18, 000/-( Books, Materials and Examination Fees). All fees payable directly to Indian Institute of Management Khozikode. Service Tax to be charged extra if applicable.
  • The fees do not include the expenses of travel and stay in Kozhikode for the compulsory modules conducted at the IIMK campus in Kozhikode for one week each during each term. Through Demand Draft in favour of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, payable at Calicut. Please write your name at the back of the DD.
