Instructions for Form Filling

Incomplete or false information will adversely affect your chances of selection. Admission granted on the basis of false information will be ipso facto null and void.
In all matters relating to admission to the program, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding on the candidate.
Last date for online applications and receipt of the signed printout of the Application Form along with all the documents at IIM Kozhikode is 25th August 2012. Therefore the applicants are advised to complete the online application form well in advance and sent the hard copy of the application so that it reaches latest by 25th August 2012.
Application checklist
Make sure you enclose the following items before sending your application form out to IIMK:
- 2 copies of passport size photograph.
- 2 print outs of Online Registration Form, complete in all details.
- Demand Draft for Rs 2000/- in favour of “Indian institute of Management Kozhikode” payable at Calicut/Kozhikode.
- Copies of academic records - Class X onwards. (Candidates are required to produce the original certificates for verification at the time of interview/admission).
- Copy of your work experience certificate from employer.(Also attach your visiting card).
Make sure you have uploaded your photo.

Program Summary:

Telecommunication Systems management has come out as one of the most stimulating and gratifying careers in management. This sector offers a multitude of opportunities related to service providers, equipment manufacturers, regulators and users. This course deals with technology and management of Telecommunication Systems, which include stakeholders like service providers, customers, equipment manufacturer, regulators, financial institutions experts, project managers, etc.

In the present business environment, an understanding of telecommunication systems is a must. Telecommunication Systems Management (TSM) course would deal with basic understanding of telecommunication technology and its management from different perspectives. Areas to be covered in this course include Telecom Technology and its business dimensions such as the customer perspective and services quality management, competitiveness of Indian telecom sector, International telecom management, Project Management in Telecom, brand management and marketing in telecom sector, Financial Management for telecom managers, Regulatory issues in Indian telecom, business opportunities due to convergence, etc. One of the major aims of this program is to develop the decision-making capability in Telecommunication Systems Management (TSM). Recent advances in these areas would be covered in this program.
